Jack Cafferty's questions for today:
4 p.m.: Is it taking the United States too long to get its citizens out of Lebanon?

5 p.m.: Who are the winners and losers in the Middle East conflict?

7 p.m.: What's the appropriate role for President Bush in the Middle East crisis?

1. My answer to the 4pm question:
Aren't the people now incapable of getting Americans out of harms way, the same people who said they needed to break the law in order to protect us? When it comes to securing the border, protecting the ports, evacuating people from the path of hurricanes, or from war zones, they are consistently incapable of action. They don't care about us, they want power over us.

3. 7pm: official masseuse
Maybe the whole situation in the Middle East is due to strained muscles? They make people very grumpy.

...Of course it's taking too long for the US to get its people out of Lebanon. What has this administration ever done on time and gotten it right the first time around??

edited to add: I just went back and answered the 7 pm question with.........

What's the appropriate role for President Bush in the Middle East crisis? Why doesn't Bush just shut his mouth for once, quit embarrassing us, and let people who know what they're doing handle it?

6. 5 pm answer
Who are the winners and losers in the Middle East conflict?

The winners will be the CEOs of Big Oil and the Saudi Royal Family, the losers will be Middle East civilians and to a lesser extent worldwide oil consumers.
