Chilling thought on internet registration for US citizens to evacuate.
Will these "applications" of US citizens for evacuation from Lebanon be cross-checked against NSA data compiled on the individuals? If they are living abroad then they almost certainly make and receive calls to and from the US, which are fair game according to Bu$hco. Are their requests for evacuation being triaged against their political affiliations and/or economic status?

There appears to already be a coterie of the chosen-few (aka Lucky-Duckies) who have already been evacuated by US military helicopters to Cyprus. From the video feed I have seen, those early evacs seem to be a collection of beautiful people who are in excellent physical shape (no lame, no halt, no gurneys with IV stands attached, etc).

Perhaps I am too cynical, but I don't trust a government that lets people die and rot in the Super-dome if they didn't have an SUV to get them inland ahead of a Cat-5 hurricane. Nor do I trust a government that hires out the evacuation of it's citizens from harm's way to a cruise ship operator on a no-bid contract. The US Navy rode out Katrina and were ready to help New Orleans in the aftermath, but were stopped. It is my opinion that the US Navy would love to run the evacuation of US citizens from Lebanon, but cannot (again). This whole thing is way too Katrina-esque for my exploding head.

Meanwhile, the ME burns and Bu$h gooses the P-M of Germany, greets the P-M of Great Britain (a poodle .. but even poodles need respect) with slang from the American street, puts on a scatological rant into a hot microphone (with cameras rolling) as he chews on a slab of meat, and generally makes a goddamn fool of himself and our country by saying that Condi might show up in the Middle East .. sometimes. Back home, Bu$h's mouthpiece - Tony Snow - lies through his Faux teeth, and then insults the doyenne of the White House press corps, Helen Thomas (who is of Lebanese extraction). It is too much, I tell you!

Dame Cath Tizard, former Governor-General of New Zealand (and as such, the representative of the Queen there), once called a political foe, in public, a "fuck-wad." Of the former P-M of India, Indira Gandhi, a political enemy once said, "She never tells the truth, even by mistake." Well, I'm calling it now. George W. Bu$h is a lying fuck-wad.

1. You're right!
The Iwo Jima has been in the vicinity, a ship that can accommodate 5000 at a time. The Navy is geared up for that type of task. You are all over this one & agree 100%. It is all about their "Privatize" at any and all costs philosophy, and it isn't even a philosophy-it is just a con job to steal the treasury.

2. American citizens in harm's way in Lebanon
I doubt if they would be sorry if Americans got hurt in Lebanon. That would be a perfect pretext for us to attack Iran.

3. Yep. Beware the false-flag operation. That is PNAC's wet-dream.
But why make it easy with a sitting-duck cruise ship? Oh, I forgot. Silly me.
