I'll do it if nobody else will . . .
I'm sorry, I've just got to rant. I am so embarrassed to be represented to the world by the bozo we have in the highest office of our fair land. By now we all know that he opened his mouth in front of a hot microphone and dropped the "S" bomb to the whole world but that doesn't really bother me. What bothers me is that the fool chews with his mouth open. Yes, you can see what he is eating while he is eating it.

If that isn't bad enough he smacks. Loud lip noises while he's chewing. My God! Is there no limit to his ignorance? He is in front of the leaders of the most powerful industrialized nations in the world and he chews with his mouth open and smacks loud enough for a microphone to pick up! What they must think of us as a nation to have voted this buffoon into office.

Okay, so he's busy stuffing his mouth with a dinner roll when his closest ally approaches. Does he stop chewing and swallow? Does he perhaps take a sip of water to clear his throat? No!!! He leans back and says, "Yo, Blair," with a mouthful of food. Yo Blair to the leader of the only country that still supports him in the Iraq debacle? Maybe it was "Yeah, Blair," but it's hard to tell with a mouthful of dinner roll. Then he continues to chew and talk past the mouthful of food. My four year old grandson has better table manners than the President of the United States for God's sake and he doesn't have access to nuclear weapons!

Oh, oh, if that isn't bad enough he's caught telling the President Putin that the delegates' speeches are too long. "Eight hours" he tells Putin about the speeches. How dumb can one human being be? Putin gave one of those speeches!! I've lost track, was it Putin or Koizumi that he told, "I've gotta' be outa' here by 2:30?"

Finally, as he is leaving the dinner he walks past Prime Minister Angela Merkel of Germany and gives her a back rub. A back rub? To one of the most powerful leaders in the free world? It's one thing to refer to the Secretary of State as "Condi" instead of Madame Secretary but to display such familiarity to a foreign head of state? If someone had done that to Dubya the Secret Service would have wrestled them to the ground!

Will somebody please give this fool a blow job so we can impeach him???

It's going to be a nasty job, but somebody's got to do it. It's what's right for America.

I wonder how fast the GOP would do an about face when their leader gets caught getting a BJ from another man? Would wearing a blue shirt to the occasion be too obvious?

7. "I've gotta' be outa' here by 2:30"
Where the hell ELSE would that idiot monkey have to be? What did he have to do, go fall off a Russian bike?

Also, how about standing up and greeting the PM of G.B. when he approaches? Anyone with any doubts definitely knows now what a complete waste of space DUH-bya really is!

I am SO embarrassed, I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of the American people for this IDIOT who stole two elections, and doesn't have the decency to chew with his mouth closed!!

10. He is a complete and total embarassment.

When I saw the video of him eating that roll and talking at the same time, I nearly lost my lunch.

And then giving Chancelor Merkel a freakin' MASSAGE? I think there were two things going on there: one, he's doing a not-so-subtle put-down of the leader of one of the major countries in the world, and two, he's doing a put-down of Merkel herself, because she's a woman. Bush is so used to having strong yet submissive women around him, women who will subjugate themselves to him, regardless of what he wants, and he just expect that from all women.

One note: I believe the "8 hours" remark was in relation to the time it takes to fly from Germany, not the length of time of a speech (though he DID complain about the length of the speeches).

I felt humiliated after I saw that video. I mean, it's not the first time that he has embarassed this country, but it was certainly one of the worst displays he's put on thus far.

11. Spoiled, narcissistic, oblivious, prick backed by "crazies",...
,...RUINING OUR NATION!!!!

They have committed so many crimes against this nation, the world and humanity,...it's stunning but insurmountable evidence that, the political system in place is in critical condition. If only more could pull their heads outta' the shit hole they helped dig, deep.

If they would do that, they would qualify as actual "leaders". But, all we have is a few real leaders,...and their following grows each day. The tide will turn,...but, I guess I just have to reckon with the horrible fallout which could have been prevented.

...talking about this yesterday and she said that one of our morning shows yesterday showed it more than once, and couldn't get over how he was eating. And I cannot tell you how many times I have seen it now. The news continues to show it, and it makes me sick every time I see it.

Mum said to me, didn't his mother teach him manners? I told her a family has to have respect for morals for manners to be taught.

For the longest time, people were clamoring that, for "*" to call himself a "good ol' boy" was nothing more than political grandstanding... after all, all the pundits pontificated, "everyone knew" that "*" was a DamnYankee!
Well, I guess the truth is now out for all the world to see: you DON'T need to be from the South to be a "hard-hittin' redneck dumb-ass"...
Of course, SOME of us saw this coming back in the Summer of 2000... but I would NEVER say "I told you so"...
The REAL question is "How do we defang this poisonous Horned Toad?" And DON'T tell me "Wait until '08; the cretin will be out of office"... we can't wait that long: the cabal whose puppet "*" is won't wait much past the next inauguration. If you think we've seen Fundie-mental fanaticism already, I've got news: watch what happens if we're still stuck with a Repug congress next term...
  We only have one slim chance remaining: seize BOTH houses of Congress THIS FALL, making the Repugs a tiny and ineffectual minority;
IF we can accomplish this -- a monumentally tall order given our own demonstrated ineffectualness and lack of guts in recent elections -- a true American People's legislature can:
    1] roadblock the Administration's remaining agenda points;
2] use whatever leverage "*" hasn't already squandered to force the current descendants of the Arab League to take over monitoring the transition in Iraq, so that OUR KIDS CAN COME HOME!
3] restrict the President's power to "push the button" and move immediately to
4] IMPEACH THE WHOLE DAMN CABAL!!!
I wish I could believe that we actually had a reasonable (as good as the proverbial snowball's) chance of pulling this off, but it's the only chance I see...
WILL SOMEONE PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG???

19. The problem is, he doesn't want a blowjob
He is not a normal person and he doesn't want normal stuff. What he wants is to be humiliated and controlled. He wants to be given boundaries, physical and emotional, to have authority wrested from his hands, and to be put in his place. These needs are not unusual in powerful people who are filled with self-loathing. Consider the most influential women in his life - his mother, his wife, his SOS - and you will see how their abusive, controlling personalities appeal to his secret cravings. (Laura's botoxed smile is a facade. Like the ever-smiling Pat Nixon, she has the whip hand in her marriage. A shame she doesn't apply it literally.)

The trouble is finding someone to administer to these needs of the most powerful person on earth. He wouldn't be content with crawling around and sucking toes like Dick Morris; sterner measures would be required. A pro domme charged with giving him the full tilt boogie treatment could expect her life expectancy to plummet drastically.

21. I must disagree, Mistress...
Not with your first premise -- you are correct, in that he is far from normal (whatever THAT means these days!), and has no interest in "normal" stuff... (I believe "*" wants to buttf**k the world, or at least, all those not members of the One True Church, but that's my not-at-all-humble opinion!)
I would also agree that "*" is desperate to be dominated. We differ only in the question of "*"'s preferred liege...
In my not-at-all-humble opinion, "*" has found his Master, and is desperately seeking His approval. "*" thinks of himself as the humble servant of "God Who is not to be named", and sees himself as that God's Sword of Cleansing...
(I also believe that "*" actually is a disciple of the Trickster God, the High Deceiver, the Lord of Lies and Deception, but, again, that's my not-at-all-humble opinion!)
I believe this is the REAL purpose behind the madness of "*"'s foreign policy decisions: "*" is slouching off to Bethlehem to give birth to Armageddon... and he can't get there fast enough!

22. I see them as two sides of the same coin
I agree with you that Bush's conversion was a desperate attempt to submit to the will of something greater/stronger/better than himself. Confession of one's weakness, unworthiness and inability to control base instincts is the defining moment of the born-again experience; giving up control and handing the reins to a greater power is very liberating, whether that power is depicted in flowing white robes or shiny black corset. However the religious experience has the added advantage of being accepted and supported by friends, family and society at large.

The problem with it, though, is that the religious version requires constant reinforcement through one's own will. God being abstract, he does not manifest his power over believers except as they choose to find it in their interpretation of events. Although a very flexible model, the authority of God is ultimately unsatisfying to one who craves control because the more his demons haunt him the more he must exert his own will in exhorting God to help him.

And while many believers refresh the heady rush of redemption by falling from grace and seeking salvation over and over again, this is not an option available to a man who must exude the strength and power of a world leader.

On the other hand, little will is required when one decides to follow through on a obsession. The reality of being under another's physical control is undeniably concrete. Neither will nor imagination are required. Safe from his demons by dint of another's power, the subject feels stress drained, balance restored and liberation renewed.

Or so I've heard.

It's obvious that Bush's will to follow God's will is failing him. The demands on his personal power grow greater by the day, pushing him back on the crutches he has found so dependable in the past. Meanwhile God's voice dims in the clamor for the leader's attention. I have been waiting for George to explode for some time now, and can only hope he won't take us all with him when he blows. If only some kind kitten with a whip could help him let off some steam; otherwise, I must concede that he will continue on the path you describe.
