Murray Waas: Bush Protecting People Around Him & Not The Constitution
ADMINISTRATION
Bush Blocked Justice Department Investigation
President Bush made the decision to deny the security clearances for the investigators, Alberto Gonzales said in his testimony before the Senate.

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee today that President Bush personally halted an internal Justice Department investigation into whether Gonzales and other senior department officials acted within the law in approving and overseeing the administration's domestic surveillance program.

.....................

In a phone interview today, Hinchey said that he was "not terribly surprised by the news" that it was President Bush who stymied the Justice probe by denying the clearances. He questioned whether Bush took the action to protect his own attorney general from the inquiry.

"It was the president of the United States himself who prevented this investigation from going forward. In obstructing the investigation, he was protecting the people around him, and not protecting the Constitution," Hinchey said.

Hinchey also asserted that "Congress has been complicit" with the administration in "disregarding the Constitution by not conducting its own inquiry into the matter: This has been a rubber-stamp Congress that has not stood up to the administration and for the separation of powers provisions in the Constitution," he said.

7. amen!
that bastard doesn't have a self-sacrificing bone in his body. The simple truth is Bush believes he is above the law and has the power to dictate from on high... the only ass he protects is his own.

4. Isn't the AG supposed to serve the American people?
I know that Alberto gets confused sometimes as to who his client is. Mr. Gonzales: The president has a personal attorney; you're heading up the Justice Department on behalf of all the citizens of the nation. There's a big difference, and you seem unclear on it.

I sure wish there was someone chairing the Senate Judiciary Committee who was more interested in upholding the Constitution than in covering for this corrupt administration. Arlen, your ears should be burning.

9. did anybody see the tape of him on the stand
Arlene Specter, asked him if wiretapping was the only illegal program that the congress did not
know about; he never answered really, he did some of his fancy footwork and I think he threw
in a few that's a hypothetical question but he never really answered. Remember he was asked
about the things being done under the radar doing his appointment hearing and he gave the
impression that everything was done above board.

13. Want to know the REAL story behind the NSA Spy Scandal?
You ain't gonna believe me....that's okay.

I started contacting Iowa Senator CHARLES GRASSLEY and BIDEN and SOUTH DAKOTA US SENATOR TIM JOHNSON and SD US CONGRESSWOMAN STEPHANIE HERSETH...back on 11/17/05.

This started the ball rolling....all the way like a "hot turd" down the hill.

The letters and info contained reference to my 47 page US Dept of Justice, Office of Inspectors General Complaint....and the famous 'DASCHLE CAMPAIGN MEMO' alleging "warrantless wiretapping of Daschle's 2004 Senatorial campaign" in Sioux Falls.

The dominos started tumbling after that.

GRASSLEY confronts MUELLER at FBI, because "I figured FBI Division 5 had whacked out three South Dakotans tied to my complaint." Turns out...FBI Div 5 didn't whack out RICH GORDON...nope...it was CHENEY'S OFFICE OF PLANS using NSA wiretapping and eavesdropping info fed to Dumsfield's DOD contractors (THAT'S HOW PATRIOT ACT MURDERS ARE DONE NOW ADAYS....EVERYTHING IS CONTRACTED OUT THROUGH CORPORATE FRONTS).

MUELLER says to GRASSLEY, "...it wasn't us, it was NSA/DOD...".

FBI leaks to RISEN at NY TIMES, who needs three sources (according to NY TIMES Protocol on sourcing their stories, especially major stories like the NSA story).

RISEN uses KEN TICE, FBI, and MY MEMOS TO CONGRESS.

KEN TICE said he "had info that would blow the lid off of congress" who ignored him.

TICE must be the analyst who sat on the South Dakota SIGINT....or maybe not?

SPECTOR and LEAHY started asking questions. Lots of hearings that were all stonewalled.

DOJ OPR was not given a security clearance, stopping a DOJ investigation into SD murders.

The story is at this thread..........http://www.conspiracycafe.net/board_forum/index.php?showtopic=4519

I point out...THE CHRISTINA MOORE MURDER IN ROUND ROCK TEXAS ON 9/23/03 looks like another "NSA/DOD contracted" surveillance to set up a murder of a witness.

Go here...............http://www.conspiracycafe.net/board_forum/index.php?showtopic=4544

This raises alot of questions and answers why MARY MATALIN bailed out...and why DEAD EYE DICK CHENEY was so drunk, he decided to shoot Texas lawyers (a wonderful new trend that I hope catchs on).
