How ironic. Bush threatens a veto to "preserve human life" and

thereby end stem cell research. Then he threatens to veto a UN cease fire resolution to halt a war in Lebanon that threatens a general Middle East conflagration; has caused 500,000 refugees, and so far, cost Israelis and Lebanese hundreds of lives.

The lesson seems to be that unborn humans are more important than those that have managed to spring from the wombs of their mothers.
