I originally posted this in the "Pennsylvania" Forum, but since many people here (other than PA'ers) hate Santorum, I thought I'd post it here to get some help for Bob Casey.

Dear Joan,


Early this morning, Bob Casey sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist expressing his outrage at the Senator's decision to tap Rick Santorum to craft ethics and lobbying reform legislation.


Not only has Rick Santorum accepted more money from lobbyists than any other senator this election cycle, he is also the leader of the notorious K Street Project. This group, founded by Tom Delay and Jack Abramoff, places their hand picked Republican friends into the very lobbying firms that Santorum is now being asked to regulate.


The K Street Project and Santorum's selection to lead ethics reform are indicative of an arrogance of power in Washington that needs to change.


Sign our petition to demand that Rick Santorum shut down the K Street Project and step aside from his leadership position in drafting ethics reform legislation. Please join us today in sending a powerful message that we will not stand for this hypocrisy.

were that I heard him lying today at the LIVE press conference on C-Span about the K Street Project. I told him that I heard him involve Senators Hutchinson and Smith and that we here in PA were tired of the lying.
