Lets see, I prayed and prayed (wink, wink) that Ralph Reed would suffer a devastating defeat tonight.

Ralph Reed, prayed and prayed (I'm sure) that he'd pull off a thrilling victory tonight.

Just goes to show God is really pissed off at the fundies.

Sounds to me like they better ask God for forgiveness and turn their pathetic lives around!

Reed concedes defeat in primary for Georgia's No. 2 spot

ATLANTA (AP) — Former Christian Coalition leader Ralph Reed, unable to overcome his ties to disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, conceded defeat Tuesday in Georgia's Republican race for lieutenant governor.
In Alabama, George Wallace Jr. — son of the legendary Alabama governor and presidential candidate — lost his bid for the GOP nomination for lieutenant governor to Luther Strange, a first-time candidate.

5. Nah, you gotta. Why resist something that's so easy and
so much fun to boot?

And it couldn't have happened to a nicer perverted bastard, could it?

10. He's about under God's right FOOT just now, isn't he?
Wonder what he did in reaction to the bad news? I'll bet he went home and beat his wife.

Or at least his dog.

3. Yep. A real setback for the fundie nutcases of America tonight with
Reed's defeat.

He was their little cherubic Bible-thumpin' gay-bashin' hope to put one of Their Own into the White House.

That plan's on hold after this evening's vote count in Georgia.

Can you imagine the L-7 extravaganza that a fundamentalist party must be?

14. Matthew 7:21-23
Matthew 7:21-23 could be scripture appropriate for Ralph Reed:

21 Not everyone who says to me,'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22 Many will tell me in that day,'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?'

23 Then I will tell them,'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'
