3. My favorite one is Leo Kottke.
But I wasn't listening, and don't know if that was he.

13. I didn't realize Hall had written it.
Apparently Leo Kottke did the original recording on his "Ice Water" album. Anyway, thanks. You learn something new every day. Well, Dubya doesn't, but that's another story. ;-)

17. Yeah, Hall was a hell of a writer
Kinda like Roger Miller.

One of those singularly great American Primitive writers.

10. I guess the guy she married was the best part of my luck.
She dug 'im cuz he drove a pickup truck.

And I guess I owe it all to Pamela Brown.
All o' my good times and all my roamin' around.
One o' these days I might be in your town
And I guess I owe it all to Pamela Brown.

The Great Leo Kottke. Thanks, Leo. One of my favorite songs - for some very personal reasons.

6. I was home on leave in '71.
Driving down Westpark Road in far west Houston.

The DJ cued up '6 and 12 String Guitar' (Tacoma - John Fahey's label) and played the whole damned thing.

I pulled over to the side of the road and listened all the way thru.

Been playing open tunings ever since.

'Geese farts on a muggy day'

9. My email address has been "banned" on the Maloy Message Board
and Kathy won't respond. I'm totally baffled. I paid for their Preium and sent them a gift and I'm an outcast. Hurts a lot. Boo. (Sorry about the off-topic, but I was curious if anybody else has been "banned" or if it's a mistake.)

Kathy was kind and did respond however she said alot of the cuts are sent in and many don't have titles , she did send me the list of the most common cuts used .
If anyone has the time it was the cut used going to break just before the midpoint of the show , was 8:25 pm PST .

8. I was out on the porch trying to stay cool
Your best bet is to contact Kathy for the answer. I'll check out the archive rom White Rose if you don't get a definitive answer. There's nothing that gets my attention more tan acoustic guitar. I grew up playing in the style of John Fahey.

There's oodles of his stuff. Sounds pretty cool. Thanks for lead to him.

20. Could be Michael Hedges?
Awesome guitar player, who unfortunately died a few years ago in a car crash.
