Ralph Reed concedes defeat

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Former Christian Coalition leader Ralph Reed conceded defeat about 9:50 p.m. in Georgia’s Republican primary for lieutenant governor.

“Tonight my candidacy for lieutenant governor comes to an end,” he said.

16. GA is conservative
and they didn't buy RR's BS.........This is good news.Some DUers wanted to run agianst him, I didn't ....they will try and steal another election I didn't want to take the chance. I loved smacking him now.HOW is the guy who won..can we beat him?

22. Wow! This would have been a great campaign poster! LOL
What was heartening that here in the heart of Republican Hell (Cobb County) several Ralph Reed Campaign signs were defaced the other day with huge yellow stickers that said "Sell Out."

Prior to the campaign my hubby said he thought we should get huge stickers that said, "Indict" to put on the signs.

Someone beat us to punch.

The other interesting fact about this primary, it has been reported that a good number of older voters stayed home this election. I was under the impression that the elderly usually vote Republican. Am I right about that? Or does it depend on the state?
