Help me with new Democratic campaign slogan |
|
Edited on Tue Jul-18-06 11:43 PM by Quixote1818
In light of the John Dean thread, I think we need something more like this:
America does not cower in fear, it's time for courage in leadership again!
Well, it needs work but something like this would be 100000 times better than:
"America is better than this"
Americans want courage, leadership and inspiration in the Democratic Party not some mediocre slogan about how we suck now but could do better.
Help me with a new campaign slogan that shows the Democrats as courageous and the Republicans as cowards! The kind of slogan that will inspire Americans to get behind the Democratic Party!
Once we get it down to a few good slogans, we send them to the DNC and to all our senators and congress people.

13. It's like the "Lord of the Flies" kids are in charge. |
|
You are right, it is time to get rid of the "Pig killer kids" and have the Adults take back control of the island.
Reminds me of the final scene of the movie when the Pilot comes across the kids in all their savagery. In a voice of stern maturity he simply says: "Whats going on here?"
The Adult pilot was defiantly the Democrat of the bunch.

It's poetic and hopeful yet takes a subtle shot at the current leadership. It brings up nostalgic images of the Country we all use to know and love and gives me a yearning to get those days back.

18. Thanks, I thought it also asked people |

to do something, and apparently people, generally, want to "help" or will do so when asked... A slogan calling people to an action of some sort, :)

You know we could put together a T-Shirt with both slogans on it.
On the front it would say:
"Time to Dump Forest Gump, cus he's as dumb as a Stump"
then on the back put
"Life is like a box of chocolates - quit picking the ones with the nuts! Vote Democrat 06'.

26. Yes, I like something that reminds people about the |
|
current Administrations endless tacts of scaring the American people and keeping us in fear. So yes, I like this one. Perhaps lengthen it to:
Reject Republican Fear, vote for courage and a fearless America, Vote Democrat
Or
Reject Republican Fear Tactics, Vote for courage, vote Democrat
Their is a lot of ways you could go with that one. I do think we need something like this though. Perhaps your more simple/direct one is the way to go?

I was thinking it could be lengthened but now I think it works best short and simple. So far this is the best Slogan I have seen by far.
