Over the last eighteen months, the Progressive Patriots Fund has
grown from just an idea to a national organization that has
contributed almost $200,000 to dozens of candidates across the
country. But the time has come for us to do more than just help these
candidates financially. Today, I'm announcing the formation of the
Patriot Corps, a plan to train and place 15 field organizers on key
races in Wisconsin and across the country.

The Patriot Corps will train energetic staff to help progressive
candidates in tough elections. After we train them, we'll send them
out to the states where they can make a difference working with the
campaigns already in place. I've always depended on a strong
grassroots field network to win my campaigns in Wisconsin, and I'm
proud of helping other candidates win the same way: door to door,
neighbor to neighbor.

Are you or anyone you know interested in being part of the Patriot
Corps? While we're looking for organizers with experience, we're also
hoping to hire young activists with a willingness to work hard to
bring victory home this fall. If you or someone you know would like to
