Should Dem's send Bill Richardson or Bill Clinton to Israel |
|
Edited on Wed Jul-19-06 12:49 AM by Quixote1818
to start brokering a peace deal?
Since all Bush can do is say cuss words about Syria to Tony Blare and sexually harass the German chancellor in what seems like another chapter of shrubs "My Pet Goat" phenomenon of looking like a cow caught in the headlights during a major world crisis, perhaps the Democrats should step up to the plate and do something.
Or would that make the Dem's look like they are over steeping their power?

1. My vote would be for Bill, but Shrub would NEVER do that! |
|
Do you have any idea what that would do to his image? Even though Bill and Poppy seem to get along, at least as former Presidents, Shrub HATES the Clintons! even if it was the ONLY option available, he would NEVER do that and let BILL take the credit!!!!!!

2. I don't think they can be sent in any official capacity |
|
Without the WH and without Congress, theirs won't be treated as an official diplomatic mission. Maybe New Mexico can send a delegation ? :).
But Clinton, could, conceivably, offer to help lead negotiatons for a cease-fire.

7. I like Bill Clinton a lot but |
|
if he is still our biggest star, we are in trouble as a party. It says something to me that he's still one of the first choices when it comes to "fixing it".
