5. So is impeachment his constitutional right. |
|
Every President has a constitutional right to be impeached when he is a liar, thief, and murderer.

2. Its the Special Prosecutor. |
|
Special counsel is no longer an option by law. We need to investigate the facts so we can impeach. Admission of guilt is not enough.

6. But he was called to task by the CIA... |
|
How DO you 'get' a special prosecutor?
Do we need a vote in the House or Senate? Can we get a special committee to do it? No clue...

9. No, he is a special prosecutor. The statute of the special counsel |
|
expired right after Clinton got out of office.

4. someone could admit to robbing your house, you still have to call the cops |
|
first, he didn't exactly admit to committing a crime. he admitted to doing something that everyone knows is a crime but he says it isn't. it's like the guy who robbed your house is claiming that he had permission, even though you know he didn't.
The house is like the district attorney and the senate is like the jury. We still need a special council to collect the evidence.
BTW, welcome to DU, gunaximbo! :hi:

what the heck he's doing. He's admitted there is a program, but hasn't said how it works, who was monitored, what actions were taken based on this info, etc. He says it's just Al-Queda terrorists, but evidence suggests it was much, much broader than that. If Bush refuses to release more info, we need a dedicated special counsel who can dig out the evidence.
