Now I know why I shouldn't watch it
I don't usually watch American news. I get my news online and radio. But ever since the whoring for the Iraq war....well, suffice it to say that I just don't like American media wthen it comes to news.

Last night, I was surfing and there was a fellow talking about the Israel/Lebanon crisis. I stopped for just a moment - just to get a taste of what he was selling, if you know what I mean.
He is talking about real estate. About how you just love this house and you want very much to buy it - and so you sit down with the owner to hammer out a deal. The owner states that he will happily sell you the house - but first you must have sex with his dog. So what do you do? The commentator of this story goes on to say that of course, you should never buy the house even if you love it, because the owner is obviously crazy. And then he ties this story to the middle eastern crisis by stating that it is the same thing.
YOU SHOULD NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH PEACE, because it will backfire if your dealing with crazy people. That is what he said.

YOU SHOULD NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH PEACE.......

And this is coming from a supposedly christian nation????? You remember that guy, a long time ago, they crucified him.......oh yeah, Jesus Christ, that was his name and what else did they call him.......THE PRINCE OF PEACE.

I don't know how you people down there manage to keep sane. Really. Guess I am really really really out of touch. Cause, not only do I dissagree with the above commentator - he angers me with his reasoning for war, for killing, for destruction. It shocks me to see his smiling face, talking of war as such a positive development.
