When God gives people land, there should be a Deed.
That way no two parties can argue over who God really gave it to. But that probably wouldn't work too good either, ask Geronimo.

2. But that's the problem - they all have deeds.
Just like in America the white folk had a deed, and the native americans had a deed.

It's all fighting over whose deed takes precedence; and apparently the only viable debate method is to assume that the deed that takes precedence is the deed that came with the best weaponry.

3. Superman didn't need a deed for his Fortress of Solitude...
Maybe that's why the righties hate him now. Of course come to think of it he didn't charge people when he rescued them either.

4. God is a flop as a real estate agent.
He keeps giving the same property to different people.

5. Moses was supposed to deposit his people in the land of
milk and honey. He didn't even lead his people all the way there. They wandered in the wilderness for 40yrs. It seems that they were all a bit lost. And besides... if they were to go to true milk and honey, there are lands that provide much better subsittance thant the ME... Anyway, I find it odd that two peoples that believe in the same God can continue to war with one another over the differences. It just seems so stupid if you think about it... and its all caused so much bad blood.

The ancient Israelis had to kill everyone who were already living in the "Promised Land", before they could claim it as their own!!!

10. Reminds me of Chief Seattle

AUTHENTIC TEXT OF CHIEF SEATTLE'S TREATY ORATION 1854

Yonder sky that has wept tears of compassion upon my people for centuries untold, and which to us appears changeless and eternal, may change. Today is fair. Tomorrow it may be overcast with clouds. My words are like the stars that never change. Whatever Seattle says, the great chief at Washington can rely upon with as much certainty as he can upon the return of the sun or the seasons. The white chief says that Big Chief at Washington sends us greetings of friendship and goodwill. This is kind of him for we know he has little need of our friendship in return. His people are many. They are like the grass that covers vast prairies. My people are few. They resemble the scattering trees of a storm-swept plain. The great, and I presume -- good, White Chief sends us word that he wishes to buy our land but is willing to allow us enough to live comfortably. This indeed appears just, even generous, for the Red Man no longer has rights that he need respect, and the offer may be wise, also, as we are no longer in need of an extensive country.

13. 1854 wasn't that long ago, was it. This speech is only 102 years
older than I am.

16. Which would make sense if we knew what "the law" meant
any more.

Wild times.
