Yesterday, I was paying the lunch check at the bar in a Chili's restaurant, where I had been reading while ignoring Fox "News" on one of the TVs. The guy next to me had been watching some propagandist ramble on about one of the current wars and he said, "Fucking Clinton. He should have nuked all those fuckers and we wouldn't have to put up with this crap now."

Since I hadn't been watching, I had no idea whether he was talking about Iraq, Israel/Palestine, Afghanistan, or every country from the Mediterranean to Pakistan. I grunted, trying to ignore him, but he went on. "I don't know why Bush doesn't do it to them right now. At least he's got a pair, you know?"

Any kind of conversation with this imbecile would have been a waste of time. I left a tip and turning to leave I said, "Well, at least Bush didn't get a blow job in the White House."

"Damn right," he nodded.

I'm really getting sick of having to live on the same planet with mindless cave dwellers. But what's the alternative?
