Now I have some questions given that these cells contained my complete DNA:

1) Do I need to hold a memorial service? I am not religious--can anyone suggest the appropriate denomination?

2) Am I criminally liable for their deaths?

3) When the rapture comes, can I expect to be reunited with these cells (they were some of my favorite).

4) If I had immediately called 911, would they have sent the cell recovery intervention team?

I guess that there is a also that sticky issue of masturbating, but I will leave that for another time...

11. I too have sinned grievously ...

A few times a year, I let the blood bank take cells out of me. Some of those are white blood cells, and have their nuclei still. And yet I am being a thoughtless "parent", by callously shipping them off to another city. Some of them will die, in their refrigerated plastic bag, no doubt wondering why their "mommy" would do this to them. Worse yet, some will be injected, while still alive, into some stranger ... God only knows who these people will be ... where my poor cells will spend the rest of their lifetimes wandering around, forced to perform immunological functions in a virtual state of servitude.
