Triumphant Return
On June 11, 2006, Billboard chart-topper Kevin Aviance was robbed and savagely beaten by men who shouted anti-gay slurs and pelted him with garbage. Once out of the hospital, suffering from a broken jaw and requiring extensive physical therapy, Aviance vowed to rise above the hatred and violence. His mouth was unwired for one day so that he could make a public appearance. Here it is: his triumphant return, riding on elephant-back and waving to the crowd in NY's Pride Parade.

Hope for DEMOCRACY!
I hope that democracy will be restored in the US via VERIFIABLE elections. I think this is essential for US, and a prerequistie to progress on so many other critical issues.
