There is a military funeral today in my tiny vista of 6000 people. Army Cpl. Troy Linden, of Detroit Lakes, MN. His funeral is in 2 hours at the Lutheran church a block and half away.

I'm going to walk down to the end of the street and see if our sheriff is enforcing the new law that they have to be 500 feet away from the church.

Dammit I don't want all that hate so close to me today.

Phone up friends. Put on the BBQ. Make a day of it. If they shout, you shout louder. If they carry signs, you make better ones. If they get on TV, make sure you talk to the reporter and request equal time. That's what freedom of speech is all about. I'd never want to take away their right to protest, but you've got a duty to make sure that your protest is easier to hear.

I wouldn't try scoring any points against that family of lunatics at the expense of this grieving family. The Phelps clan is doing a fine job all by themselves exposing their brand of hatred for what it is -- evil. there are other places and times to confront the Phelps in the manner you describe, but not at a funeral. The tactic used by the Patriot Riders is much more effective in this instance.

i go in.. there is Pissed ALL OVER the toilet seat..it is a big factory in Milan i got really mad and almost chased the hillbilly down and yelled..
