1. I like Tony...
IN the sense that we know we're being conned.

With the other two, they at least put on an air as if they spoke the truth.

Tony always looks like he's flat out lying.

12. Such as when he thanked her for putting forward the Hezbollah POV?
Edited on Wed Jul-19-06 12:33 PM by Godlesscommieprevert
She made the entirely appropriate comment that Israel were being perceived as punishing civilians in Lebanon for what Hezbollah were doing.
His snotty little response?
"Thank you for giving us the Hezbollah view"

Pillsbury Dough Boy. He was essentially helpless before any tougher question -- Helen Thomas' questions in particular -- and always looked like a school kid fibbing about something.

Snow is a more practiced liar and accomplished propagandist.

Very high yuck factor with Tony.

7. Both, in different ways of sleaziness but still sleaziness
I can say that with empirical evidence, my feeling of nausea is the same when I see or hear Snow as it was when Scottie was there, lol.

9. Scott was another campaign manager, twice for his MOTHER!! ..But
he also was a chief of staff for a texas senator, http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_McClellan

i was in the doctors office with about 30 people and a TV on FAUX news...

scott comes on and does his thing.. i am an old fart and pipe up loud and say..

they got to get a better liar.. this guy has no poker face and knows his mother is ashamed of him.. he is a terrible liar.

it got a lot of laughs.. but i was right, they got a professional this time.. a real experienced lying corporate whore

10. i always kinda felt sorry for scotty
to be the spokesman for the worse human being ever to lead our country must be degrading to the point that one would have to quit or kill one`s self..scotty made a choice. tony on the other hand is perfect for the job because for one he has no humanity and after lying for fox news it was a seamless transition to the job of lying for the worse person ever to lead our country..

just seemed lost and maybe even a little uncomfortable lying so much, thee sweating always gave him away, well that and the horrible delivery.

17. Tony Snow has a Degree from the White House...
Press Secretary School of Charm. Could he be any more ignorant to people? He said to a correspondent from India "Well, that's a no brain-er." When someone suggested sending Satan's father and Clinton to the ME, he screamed at them. I was waiting for him to say "Well, duh" (I really hate that when someone does that, it is so demeaning). Anyway, he said he doesn't have his security clearances, yet, so he is not privy to a lot of info!? Harrison Ford, please come and pick me up in your helicopter and take me away from this scary place where I am living.

15. Tony Snow
is like a fox where Scottie was kind of a manatee.

Snow is more fun to watch because he's good. Just wish he weren't on the other side. Bush was "smart" to hire him.

16. Tony knows better. Scotty didn't.
Scotty was just a delaying tactic. He hemmed and hawed while the Bushies tried to come up with strategy that would poll well.
Snow is a different animal. He knows what he's saying is total BS. But he considers himself a "professional" so he's going to very "professionally" lie and divert and counterattack.
He's more dangerous because he's smarter and he's totally devoid of ethics and morality.
He, like the Bushies, just wants to "win".
And Bushian "winning" doesn't translate well for America.

20. I thought that Scott was pretty bad, until I saw Tony in action.
You knew that Scott was feeding you a line of crap, but sometimes he looked bothered by the fact. You know that Tony is feeding you the same line of crap, but he manages to look proud of the fact.

22. I just can't bring myself to watch the Snowjob. I couldn't watch him on
the pretend news either. He just seems a little too slick.

Snotty kinda grew on me. It was like a game. He was in over his head, and he knew it, and we knew it, and he knew that we knew it, but it was fun watching him try to tap-dance.

Besides, lunch just hasn't been the same without Snotty Bingo!

23. I noticed yesterday that Snow started saying "we"
when he was talking about administration policies. About halfway through(after Helen shook him up) he stopped saying "The President" or "Secretary Rice" and just started saying "we think" or "we are"... kind of telling.
