News and views about Lord pissypants faux religion drive me nuts! I found an article from Vanity Fair in the run up to the 2000 campaign via Digby and FDL. The article is a long one with alot of interviews to define the candidate. I thought it was worth sharing.

"If you were playing basketball and you were playing to 11 and he was down, you went to 15," says Hannah, now a Dallas insurance executive. "If he wasn't winning, he would quit. He would just walk off.... It's what we called Bush Effort: If I don't like the game, I take my ball and go home. Very few people can get away with that."

Perhaps as an adaptation to that impossible contest, Little George dedicated himself to being the cutup, the funster, the genial wise guy. And in this behavior he was egged on by his mother. The two engaged in almost nonstop towel snapping, topping each other with cutting remarks, some so cruel that Big George would have to leave the room.

They are celebrating the courageous veto of the Stem Cell Bill, but I would bet that those at the White House reading the same site would be snickering knowing they got the Freepers fooled again, "follow the money" the sheep are kept quiet for now and afterwards it will be made OK to do the research.
