ULTIMATE HYPOCRISY: Bush's 2004 Budget INCREASED FERTILITY RESEARCH
Edited on Wed Jul-19-06 04:56 PM by berni_mccoy
Check this out, in 2004, Bush's budget proposal increased funding for the NIH by 2% or $549 MILLION. The total budge for the NIH in 2004 was $30 BILLION.

RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association, worked with the NIH to increase funding for Infertility Research by 10% in 2004 to a total of $1.3 BILLION.

That's a lot of research money going to MAKE ALL THESE UNUSED EMBRYOS that end up getting destroyed anyway.

Using Bush's reasoning, that's a lot of FEDERAL RESEARCH MONEY, APPROVED BY BUSH HIMSELF BEING USED TO MURDER UNBORN CHILDREN.

Here's the link http://www.resolve.org/site/PageServer?pagename=ta_pap_fvr

An appropriation of $1.33 billion, which represents a 10 percent increase, in FY 2004 will ensure that NICHD is able to continue to identify breakthroughs that are on the brink of discovery and to produce new insights into human development.
