Bush's Flawed Stem Cell Rationale - A Simple Argument In Pictures
Bush's Flawed Stem Cell Rationale

.......... simplistic demonstration that clearly points out the absurdity of the Bush position as well as the fact that it frankly does nothing to prevent "murder" and can actually be construed to facilitate euthanasia or murder. Here's the argument in pictures:

1. Too technical for Georgie Boy, besides that is not what the words
...on the teleprompter and in the typed notes say, nor is it what KKKarl Rove and Dick Cheney and the other Bush handlers told him to say.

2. this argument
could be further extended by including photos of real human damage in the form of wounded Iraqis and American service men and women. Logic is on vacation in D.C.

3. Great illustrations ...
I've been explaining to people all day that the fetus referred to in this debate are really a clump of cells ... NOT the little thumb sucking image the nut wing wants us to believe it is.

The illustrations you provided are much clearer than my rambling explanations. Thanks

4. They say "ripping these fetuses apart limb from limb
to get their stem cells". What ignorant idiots. I guess none of these people are women and have never sat looking at pictures in a doctor's office. Three day old EMBRYOS don't have any LIMBS. And if they did, they would be a fetus and they wuold have ADULT stem cells. Or do they think adult stem cells are over the age of 21?

5. I like the illustrations, too
and think they need to be put out there for more people to see. I've listened to the fundies' rants about this, and to hear them talk stem cell researchers where dismembering babies or something-I got the idea that some fundies think that blastocysts and zygotes look like miniature babies.
