a lot of attention to detail. I applaud the artist.

ways to tell its not real:

although a lot of effort was made to make the lighting consistent, its just a bit off.
There is an artifact halo, barely perceptible, but there, around the outline of the flipped finger and hand. The artist tried to fudge the lines (and did a decent job) by allowing the back light to appear to fade through the edges of his hand and fingers. However, note that the light does NOT flow around Bush's edges in the same way, even though they are (apparently) the same distance from the light source.

Also note the pixelization of the flipper's jacket, compared to the relative smooth lines of the flippee's jacket.

Note the harder edge on the inside of the elbow on the flipper against the dark blob on the background. I see some stairstepping pixels.

regardless, tis a satisfying pic, even though its fake.

(I posted without reading any other replies yet, someone else might have already pointed these out.)
