Stem cell research and the death penalty
I keep hearing how this administration tells us how we can't use embryonic stem cells for research in the name of LIFE but we can put to death those on death row.

How can these people say they are 'pro-life' yet condemn those on death row to death?

2. Hey! I Know How To End The Death Penalty!
Let's start calling the death penaly "retroactive abortion", and protesting in favor of it. The Rapture Brigade will immediately demand an end to it.

Whaddya think? Am I brilliant or what?

5. This is definitely a moral issue!
It is immoral that thousands of excess embryos are being throw in the trash every year rather than being used to help save lives!
Why does bush think it's okay to pretend that these embryos will not be destroyed if there's no stem cell research? Does he really think he's "saving" all these "lives"? Even if every fundie in America "adopted" 20 of these embryos...there would still be thousands more!

7. And why does he pretend that an embryo has far greater value
than those who have died in Iraq, Darfur or in many of our own assisted living facilities here in the US?

8. I'm waiting for the day when someone calls him on it.
When will reporter at a press conference say "Mr. Bush, why is it okay to throw those excess embryos away rather than use them for research?"
