I can no longer even be civil to a Repuke. My candidate DH |
|
went to a Chamber of Commerce Mixer, I refused to go, and was right. They are all repukes and the subject matter was disgusting. Illiterate uneducated morons (seriously, barely high school degrees!) talking about, "if people have to work three jobs to provide for themselves, it is their own fault for not planning." This from a woman who gets a free apartment for managing a complex! Not to insult anyone but what would she know about the struggles of some? Minimum wage is out of the question. After the Bush veto today, and I have a chronic condition that could benefit from SC research, I HATE the repukes and if they were all to be suddenly ripped apart in a maelstrom, I would only be sorry about the mess. I have just about had it. I have been nice , compromising and understanding, not anymore. DH however still tries to talk to them and bless him, he is so reasonable. My hatred can no longer be concealed. I will just have to stay away from them. Thanks for letting me vent about these stupid awful, disgusting and selfish people. I swear they have NO redeeming value.

Many people do plan and it still does not work out right. There is nothing wrong with working more than one job, in fact I think people who do are admirable for doing their best.

4. But they think if you "plan" you don't need three jobs. I am sure DH just |
|
bit his lip. He was "outsourced " and eventually went into business for himself because he couldn't find another job and he has a Masters and 26 years experience.! We know what it is like to take low paying jobs, and not have health insurance. I HATE these people.

of the Chamber of Commerce? It was a really good article in Harper's magazine. Edit: Not Harpers, Center for Justice & Democracy. I don't have the DU thread, but here is a link to the original article. Kind of long, but very interesting. http://www.centerjd.org/private/papers/Secretchamberstudy.pdf

Understandable, and you're not alone. It's probably good you didn't go. You don't need that negative energy. I find my temper flaring up in my chest every time I see a W sticker or hear some RWer on TV. Seriously, I can't even watch the news for long, and if I found out any random person with whom I was speaking was a Repub, I think I would just have to walk away in order to not be nasty. So I'd rather not know (let alone discuss politics with them) because I really like people, generally, and I don't WANT to hate them. But I won't take it anymore and I'm sick of trying with them.
