and continue to open my eyes to the realities of my country. I admit I was pretty blind for a fairly long period of time....but no more...each step builds on another...I see one truth...it leads me to the next...it is inescapable.

I guess I do, too. It's because of him (well, and 9/11) that my eyes began to open. It's a painful process, and sometimes I wish for that blindness, but it has to happen for change to come about.

the world got to see what a small venal person he is thanks to his clueless open mike incident at the G-8 summit. The pretend president is now playing God. My son is one of those whose hopes of walking again were dashed by political expediency. I thought I hated this man. It's now something deeper that I have no words for.
