I gotta hand it to Scarborough- I thought his interview w/ Colbert was |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-20-06 02:04 AM by BullGooseLoony
hilarious.
He did call the audience Marxists (in what I think was an attempt at humor), but he was otherwise very honest and even funny. He said that he did take money from Jack Abramoff, but also that the Republicans are "horrible," and that he doesn't think that the Democrats can screw it up bad enough to not take Congress back in the midterms.
I really enjoyed it. I hate his show to the point that I can't watch it, but I liked that interview.

1. Well, his show seems to be changing |
|
They've got him doing some goofy shit...someone has to take up Rita Cosby's slack, I guess. He looked a little unhappy when they changed his format, but I haven't kept up with his program of late. Maybe he's starting to roll with it.

2. He played off of Colbert's schtick well, I thought. |
|
Seemed to take it all with a very good humor. Even said that he watches the show with his wife every night.

The "Marxists" crack was a joke.
Scarborough didn't get the audience "on his side" but he was honest enough and funny enough that they weren't too hostile (at least as far as I could tell from what made it to TV.)

5. I try not to soil my computer by visiting FReeperville.... |

but, I have seen Scarborough referred to as a liberal on that site. :eyes:
I understand that he has a teenage son with Type 1 Diabetes. I can't think of an excuse for him to stay neutral on the subject of stem cell research. And I couldn't believe he supported Dim Son for that very reason. How do you explain to your child that you're voting against their health?

9. Scarborough is a natural. He is very personable unlike most pukes... |
|
And when he berates bush I find him immensely attractive. Oops! Did I say that? :wow:
