Has Hillary found her running mate?
This makes total sense. Vilsack is the governor of Iowa and he's moderately popular. Iowa is "first in the nation" in determining the Dem presidential candidate. If she can win Iowa, that would give her some momentum.

Personally, I don't like either Clinton or Vilsack, but I bet she's got her sights on him as a running mate, and I think it's an interesting strategy.

WASHINGTON -- Gov. Tom Vilsack was in Washington, D.C., Wednesday, helping New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton unveil a plan to make college more affordable.

The Democrats -- both potential presidential candidates -- want to give states $150 billion over 10 years and create a $3,000 tuition tax credit.

4. In Order To Have a "Running Mate" You Have To Run, Hillary Won't
Hillary Clinton will not have a running mate because she will not be running for any office that requires a "mate".

It takes a certain sort of mind to expect Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic Party's nominee for the Presidency. That would be the mind of a person who believes what they hear on CNN and FOX.

I don't like Hillary AT ALL. I see no difference between her and Junior. She's done next to nothing to prevent the shineola that BushCo has foisted on our nation.

However, I do think it's noteworthy that she's joining forces with Vilsack. If she's attempting to win Iowa--to give her some momentum in the nomination process--I think it's a noteworthy strategy and one that should make us Iowans work harder for other Dem candidates.

I am also concerned about election stealing. Hillary is obviously in bed with the neocons. They steal elections. It's possible that Hillary could benefit from some unjust election antics.

I'm just saying.

9. I think she very well may run, but it's another thing to say she will
be the Democratic nominee.

8. If the Dems nominated Clinton and Vilsack against a possible
GOP combo of McCain and Giuliani--we wouldn't have a prayer.

But really I think it's too soon to speculate on who she might choose as a running mate when I don't necessarily think she will be the Democratic nominee.

10. McCain and Guiliani are real right wing freaks
yet our media turns them into "moderates". It is hard to beat a combo of a lying compliant media and electronic voting machines.

11. true
though they aren't as right wing as Frist, Gingrich and Allen--who would be much easier to beat.

12. Clinton and Vilsack are part of the "DLC Leadership Team."

From left to right: U.S. Sen. Tom Carper is vice chair of the DLC; U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is chair of the DLC's American Dream Initiative; Al From is founder and CEO of the DLC; Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack is chair of the DLC; (Not pictured: Bruce Reed is DLC president; Pennsylvania State Representative Jennifer Mann is chair of the DLC's State Legislative Advisory Board (SLAB); Columbus (OH) Mayor Michael Coleman is chair of the DLC's Local Elected Officials Network(LEON).)

13. Probably not, for the same reason Kerry didn't choose Vilsack
As they said on the Daily Show in 2004, "If they can turn 'Gore-Lieberman' into 'sore-looserman' think what they can do to a name like Vilsack."
