These charlatans have a great record when it comes to extracting money from their dupes, and it should not be overlooked that this is a respected power indeed. But when it comes to actually running a campaign and getting votes from a majority (even a majority of Republicans), the Christian Coalition folks don't do so well.

I'm going to guess that they'll go back to raising money and using it to try to influence real politicians, and quit trying to run for office themselves. The political humiliation of Pat Robertson (1998) and Ralph Reed (2006) won't likely be repeated anytime soon. They're much more effective when they're handing out money and scaring folks with chimeras, though even that is beginning to show some diminished returns.

So long, Ralph. Write if you get a real job.
