Whatever you can do out there this week and weekend to support "OVERTHROWING BUSH" .....please DO IT!

I know that "ACTIVISM" on DU has been strong for years, and all of you have been "faxing, phoning and e-mailing your House and Senate Reps and you've purchased those "magnetic bumper stickers from CAFE PRESS and other sites and you've been out there working your butts off.

But...maybe it's time to RAMP IT UP? More flyers to the Library "outside stacks where the Community Info sits in bins before you walk in...and what about CD's of Gore's Speech in Starbucks or "one page flyers with IMPEACH BUSH INFO?"

Think about where you "frequent" and wear "latex or rubber gloves when you use your printer and "staple gun" to "tack up the BUSH LIES" all over your neighborhood. Use Precautions...like Condoms and they can't trace your fingerprints. But, write up one page SUMMARIES of TALKING POINTS and DISTRIBUTE!

What do we have to lose? We have SO MUCH TO GAIN???

This WEEKEND COMING...we need the BIG MO for GORE'S SPEECH and COUNTER ACTIVITIES! Think about using the proper precautions like you would for "Safe Sex" and you won't go wrong.

Just GET THE MESSAGE OUT! Think of Tom Paine and Paul Revere! Our DEMOCRACY IS AT STAKE! GET THE MESSAGE OUT! (but take precautions, because in BushWorld we can't be "too" careful.)

3. I think there are a number of Demcs who would call for resistance

to Bush's agenda to corrupt the rule of law and the Constitution. We know that Sen. Feingold has courageously and tirelessly spoken out against the Patriot Act and the attempt by this Administration and certain Repubs in Congress to take away civil liberties. He is another good Dem who is fighting for us.

I am proud of Vice Pres Gore, Sens Kerry & Clinton for speaking out. We need a reminder every now and then that there are people who understand that you don't fight repression and suppression of liberty abroad by getting rid of it at home. Kudos to them all.

I was ready to march in the streets today, but the rain put a little damper on my enthusiasim.

I listened to Gore's speech through the telephone last night (my BF held his phone up to his TV), this is one of the few times I missed having unplugged my TV 4 years ago.
