What Sort Of Speaking Fees Will Bush Receive After Office |
|
George Bush can't string two sentences together coherently. He has a delivery of speech roughly akin to a broke-spring truck on a bad dirt road with noone steering. Considering that who on earth is going to pay him and how much to give the old nod and wink to the boys back home at the VFW after he's left office?
It is difficult to immagine that once the mortgages have been recalled on the mega-churches that anyone on earth is going to give a hoot in hell what that clown has to say. Somehow I can't see him raking in the tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars on the speaking trail that seems to be so freely available to everyone else.

2. Ha ha, thanks for the laugh! |

I don't think he wants to hit the speaking trail, so audiences may be safe. He'll do things like go to baseball games and stuff.

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the concept of them giving this guy a fucking LIBRARY! I mean...A George Bush library? You mean with books?

It's part of his golden parachute. Let the energy and war related industries have their way with everything during his term and a few cushy 'talks' later and he's got 50 million in the bank.

12. After Bushboy leaves office, we won't see much of him |
|
He will be "secluded" on his Crawford "ranch", probably for the rest of his life, where he will drink and snort his way to an early death. Sure, there will be a few brief stage managed appearances, like for the opening of his library and such, but they will be few and far between.
He is too far gone over the edge and thus too much of a liability to allow him the freedom to speak at will in front of a crowd. It is one thing to assault a chancellor and slap a Congressman when you're the President, an entirely different matter when you're a private citizen again. And God knows, his handlers don't want him dragged into court to answer questions about anything under oath.

16. If Ann Coulter can pull down $20k-plus, so can George |
|
According to Coulter's speaker's bureau, she gets $20,000 if speaking in Miami or NYC, $25,000 in the central time zone and $65,000 on the west coast. This plus "travel arrangements"--I think she goes by first-class air; I know Hannity demands a chartered jet.
If Coulter deserves $20k-$60k, George deserves no less. They're equally full of shit. And arguably, they're equally dangerous.
