Yes, Israelis and the Jewish people have suffered horrible despicable actions and words in the past, and continue to do so now. But to try and dissuade legitimate criticism by labeling a person as an anti-Semite is wrong and uncalled for.

It is time to seperate the irrational actions and words of the relative few from the legit criticisms of the many. Confusing and confounding the two is wrong, and does a disservice to both sides, and continues to muddy the waters so no progress is made.

I've found it effective to simply state my own concern for non-violence and for peaceful resolutions to the problems we face, with a bit of hope thrown in. It challenges, but in a positive way. You might be surprised at the way it causes the other side to reflect on their own violent stance.
