Do Senators Nelson and Feinstein support totalitarianism?
If they do not, then why are they supporting a judicial candidate who has revealed through his actions and words he will work to further centralize and increase the power of George Bush and the Executive Office?

Not to mention, Senator Feinstein must not have been listening when Alito was quoted as saying that Roe Vs Wade is not protected under the Constitution.

Samuel Alito works from no Constitutional law. He has made it clear he will apparently make it up as he goes.

How in the world can these Senators betray their party and the majority of all Americans by approving of such an extremist, unacceptable nominee?

1. At least Feinstein is going to vote against Alito
but she also should support a filibuster if she really believes he is wrong for the SC.

3. I actually find it despicable and opportunistic. She's afraid to do
what is right. However, she has no problem trying to save face by going ahead and voting "no" because she knows without a fillibuster, Samuel Alito will be approved anyway.

She's trying to save face when she knows she's betraying her state of California, not to mention Americans nationwide.

Alito's lack of ability to follow the rule of law should disqualify him consideration for such a position.

2. No surprise here.
I'm sorry but this is not a surprise. What will be a surprise is if the remainder of the DLC contingent doesn't fall into line with them.

4. I called Vichy Fiensiein today
Since her husband is directly benefiting (as a defense contractor) from the war, she will not support any opposition to King Georges policies. They thanked me for my call. Tens of thousands of us called her to ask her not to vote for war. She basically told us to fuck off cause her husband is getting richer because of the war. Same with Alito, she is making too much money from the Bush regime to oppose him.
