Funny how African nations involved in horrendous civil wars and mass genocide are ignored year after year despite all the attention famous people such as Jolie try to bring these things to light. Yet, the ME begins a war and its the best coverage in the world... Sorry, innocent people dying unecessarily anywhere is appalling and deserves equal attention.

I am watching the Israel/Hezbullah/Lebanon/etc war with interest because it can directly affect me, not due to how many people have gotten killed. I know what you mean also.
