Hanging on to November.... |
|
Everyone will cling to hope like leaves cling to a tree. But after the first frost, the leaves will start falling. After the November election, will our hopes start falling also?
If the election does not turn out the way that we want, will we be looking for change? Or will we continue to do what we have been doing for the last 6 years? Will we hang on for one more November?
Or will we start falling like the leaves after the first strong wind of winter? Will we be looking for a different way to do battle? Will we be looking for new leaders with new messages? Surely, it is blowing in the wind, waiting to be carried into thought form?
But, in the meantime, we wait patiently for November. We anticipate and hope for the best. We do not think beyond November. It may be the month of revolution?

I don't care if America is my country...I will not raise my children in the neo-cons' version of the United States.

I really believe that we're gonna win big. I smell a victory like 1994 or 1972 (so I'm told. I wasn't around) in the air. Emperor Duh-bya's insanity is there for everyone to see (G8 summit), and the American people are increasingly dissatisfied by the Republicans currently in office. I don't think we have a cinch (anything could happen between now and November), but I do think that we have a good chance to put this country back on course. Ringo
