Do you think if Arafat would have accepted the peace plan that was cobbled together by him, President Clinton, and Ehud Barak


9-11 would have occurred?


the Hezbollah-Israel flare up would occur?


I don't think there would be popular support for these actions and Hezbollah and Al Qaeda would be seen as rogue elements in the Muslim world. Terrorists or guerrilla success is dependent on the support of the populous. It can not exist in a vacuum.

1. I think finding a solution in the ME is the key
to world peace. Terrorism feeds upon fear and strong emotions, and there are many terrorist organizations who fuel the frenzy by referring to Israel.
