i was a Juvenile Parole Officer.. i worked in the office, in the field, and in the prison.

i was also the Emergency Services Coordinator for the North Olympic Peninsula, i have worked with the poor and the disenfranchised, the mentally ill.. i have seen the worst of it.

there are all kinds of kids, people tend to be born with their own personalities, i am 180 degrees different than my brother.. he was a police Caption, red neck, locke em up throw away the key.. i was a Juvenile parole officer and i taught meditation in prison and in my office, i mediated in the schools for them, i tutored them after school, we had a study group, i taught them learning systems, their parents came into my office and cried and thanked me for helping then pass school... i tried to understand cause and effect, i found several kids that had hypoglycemia or Candida Albacans and their behavior was triggered by mood swings die to sugar.. we wrote in their parole contract they couldn't drink coke with sugar or eat candy.. we made them read books to educate them.
it isn't likely many will change, but if we can educate them to use condoms, and the benefit to abstinence or at least being selective sexually in some cases.. lots of suffering can be avoided.

one delinquent girl statistically will cause you more trouble than 10 or 15 boys, we had 14 girls in our active files.. there were two parole officers. a mother comes in in a frenzy dragging her 14 year old girl.. she is furious and holds up a 2 foot long strip of condoms..:wow: :rofl: in a fit of disgust shakes them at me. i asked the girl if she used them... she said yes.. i asked do you use them every time.? she said yes, i nodded and looked at the mother and shrugged my shoulders.

As I mentioned the name makes me uncomfortable, but what you describe is even worse.

Pre-adoption? what the hell. Adoption is a good and viable choice for parents who want to raise children (who cant for medical reasons), and for mothers to be who choose not the have an abortion, but find themselves in trouble.

I dunno, but this form of adoption makes me uncomfortable.
