The extreme right wing want to force their opinion of their belief of God down peoples throat and at the same time the extreme left want to force the lack of God on everybody,,In my opinion one is just as bad as the other, their both extreme views and I for one am tried of reading and listening to either one, can we get back to discussing the things that are actually killing the good ole US of A and leave all of this other non useful crap alone, what difference does it make to anybody on DU wheather you do or don't believe.

and worded it that way also. I don't think people are trying to flame you, but if you persist in using right wing framing alleging essentially that "non-believers want to make everyone else non-believers", which is hardly true, then don't expect people to not get upset.

It seems you threw a flame bomb in then played the martyr when people took the bait. I am not trying to be rude, just showing you why you may have gotten the reaction you did.



And for the record, I believe God should be removed from the public sphere in that it is no business of government's to support any religion. That doesn't mean people are not free to worship as they wish.

actually it is a unique conversation. a moral conversation is essentially a lecture.. if you disagree the conversation is over and YOU LOSE..!! pretty slick ..

religion is based on a mental perceptual development level of about 8 to 15 years old.. that is why they dont believe in evolution. if you take the next step in development.. your entire world dissolves and you have to figure out the next one, and you cant take the old one with you, but actually the old one is integrated into the new one but..
