Ever wonder where the GOP would be right now without Fox News?
Edited on Fri Jul-21-06 08:19 AM by BullGooseLoony
Those corporate asses owe EVERYTHING they have left to that freaking channel. It's the only thing keeping the party from falling to absolute pieces. If it wasn't for Fox News, the rest of the corporate media wouldn't have nearly the slant that they do, either.

You can be damned sure that every idiot that still supports these clowns is a regular Fox News viewer. It's their psychological life-preserver. It enables their psychoses to continue.

Without Fox News, Bush would have a 10-15% approval rating.

2. They've still got radio
The main problem with FOX news is that the other TV news outlets were trying to be like them, especially a few years ago. Good to see that they're toning down the wannabeism a little bit.

A big problem is the big corporate ownership of TV, radio and print. The wingnuts may claim that the media is liberal but as I see it, the media is as liberal as the massive conglomerates that own them. Hell, NBC/MSNBC is owned by a major defense contractor!

At least most of the people who watch FOX News and listen to wingnut AM talk stations religiously are the deeply converted. It's like their own echo chamber.
