NBC Today declared B*sh Doctrine a large, stinking turd....
It was scathing by their standard of reporting on the B*sh admin. It was pretty comprehensive- from pre-emptive war in Iraq to sow Democracy seeds and "change" the ME up to the present events in Israel/Lebanon, the B*sh Doctrine has inspired quite the opposite, and made the world (and the US) less safe. After the piece, Tony Snow came on to discuss/defend B*sh admin's response and participation in the ongoing ME crisis.

All I can say is what the hell took them so long to critique this disastrous, radical policy?

2. It's just a burp. We're talking GE here. The NBCs are only a tool to
perpetuate war, weapons, and unrest for the greater profits of GE and their stockholders.

3. It took them this long to rinse that turd from between their teeth.
I missed the segment but did see Tony Snow with his eyes bugged out and twisted knickers rallying to Bu$hco's "defense". This guy is more loathsome than Pop N Fresh Scotty.

like the onslaught was larger and more vicious than he'd been prepared for.

4. Yes! I heard David Gregory talking about their failed ME policy as well
I thought they were going to make the world safe for us :sarcasm: and all we see is destroyed lives and burned buildings and blood.

Do they think that the "terrorists" are not going to be just a tiny bit upset with us?

Do they believe that they are making friends and keeping the "WHITE MANS DEMOCRACY" on the March?

Do they realize that they are dealing with people that have a different mind set than they do?

Have they EVER taken a multi-cultural understanding class?

NO, NO, NO

10. They have to throw George under the bus
It is part of the effort to keep congress this fall and the presidency in 08. They will distance themselves to that the faithful can still vote republican rather than not vote at all.

They will end up presenting GOP candidates as the solution to George's problems more so than democrats.

Dems have to tie all pugs to B*sh and his policies.

11. still shocked the MSM has given the "veto-less" presidency
such short shrift (well, now Baby gave his first veto).... isn't that a shocker? Doesn't that say it all: the Legislative Branch is in cahoots with the Executive Branch, hammering out back-room legislation, consolidating power amongst themselves and undermining the Democratic (supposed) and fair function of our gov't?

Doesn't a Veto-less President = a Rubber-Stamp (Majority) Congress? This phenomenon has NOT been explored or analyzed at ALL in the MSM.

14. Good point, wiggs.
Thanks for starting me to think along these lines. That would be a very logical (and evil, of course) way to try and salvage '06: go hard against Bush, the person, and somehow present the rest of the Repub. party as the solution to that one particular person.

Very likely sounding, indeed.

13. that was my thoughts as well
You mean the Bush Doctrine wasn't already in dire straights by the end of the summer of '04?

Not to mention the Bush I Doctrine that wasn't doing so hot in the Middle East either during the early '90s.
