1. Prickly City checks in with usual ham-handed touch...
Scott Stantis is such a half-wit.

Hello CodePink Seattle Women and Men,

Seattle Troops Home FAST is going strong! We will gather every Tuesday, and we encourage you to join us. This will be the 22nd day of fasting for our sisters in DC. We will stage this fast in solidarity with them, and to be a visible opposition to war in front of Cantwell and Murray’s offices. VERY VISIBLE! You can participate in any way that works for you, there is no requirement that you stay for the whole day. See www.CodePink4Peace.org for information on "Troops Home Fast" and tips on fasting.

When: Tuesday, July 25th (and following Tuesdays)
Where: Federal Building, 2nd and Madison, Seattle
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Goal: 48 fasters to represent 48 soldiers from WA that have lost their lives in this war

We welcome Military Families Speak Out and will be supporting their “Operation House Call” campaign. Please visit www.mfso.org. We also welcome Lt. Ehren Watada’s support group. Find out more at www.thankyoult.org.

We have also partnered with Operation Love My Soldier. If you would like to donate goods for care packages to US soldiers deployed in Iraq, please contact montanagal78@yahoo.com for a list of needed items, or visit the Craigslist ad while it is still posted at http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/wan/182526395.html. CodePink will have a collection box on site at every Tuesday fast.

Come dressed in your most outlandishly pink outfit, pull out the boas and wigs from the closet, bring some bubbles to blow, and be prepared to be part of an amazing action with a very energetic crowd! Spread the word...

Our pink phone booth is ready!! We will have a fantastic pink phone booth on site to encourage folks to stop and call their Senators on the spot. If anyone lives near Ballard and can offer transport for a large prop, please let me know.

Please write to Libby libby@codepinkseattle.org if you need or can offer carpooling (other than Vashon).
Carpooling in Vashon available - 567-0593

Contact Libby at libby@codepinkseattle.org or toll free 866-NOIRAQWAR with questions or concerns. Peace! Libby

PLEASE- Get the word out among your friends, circles, religious groups, etc. Thanks!
