Ooohhh another Repub linked to Abramoff? Pete Sessions-TX
This would be soooo sweet if this is true.
If you recall, Frost was redistricted out using Abramoff money.

WASHINGTON – Hoping to entangle Dallas Rep. Pete Sessions in the ongoing lobbying scandal, a one-time Democratic foe accused him Tuesday of developing a suspicious interest in Malaysia after a nine-day trip arranged by disgraced lobbyists Jack Abramoff and Michael Scanlon.

Sessions, prior to this trip, had shown no interest in Malaysia," said Mr. Angle, who runs the Lone Star Project, a spinoff of Mr. Frost's former political action committee. "If you take a look at what Sessions has done, it would be logical that he would be one of the members the federal investigators would be taking a look at."

Since then, various news reports have suggested a Malaysian client secretly paid Mr. Abramoff and Mr. Scanlon through a sham think tank, the American International Center, based in a beach house in Delaware.

Mr. Scanlon created the center and put a lifeguard pal in charge. The think tank got about $1.3 million, then hired Greenberg Traurig, the law and lobbying firm where Mr. Abramoff worked, to work on behalf of Malaysia. Funneling money through the phony think tank circumvented foreign agent disclosure rules and avoided potential embarrassment stemming from Malaysia's reputation for human rights violations and anti-Semitism.

Pete Sessions has taken $26,644 from Tom DeLay's ARMPAC. No surprise that Sessions voted with Tom DeLay 96% of the time between Jan. 1 2004 and March 31 2005.

Pete Sessions voted to weaken the ethics rules in a move that many say served only to protect Tom DeLay.

Pete Sessions voted to allow Tom DeLay to continue serving as Leader even if he is indicted.

Tom DeLay has been admonished three times for his unethical behavior, yet Pete Sessions gave DeLay's legal fund $5,000 to help defend him.
