they HAVE abolished the filibuster! OK, so what is there to lose by going for the filibuster and at least force the GOP to be honest about the fact that the filibuster is no longer viable because they have killed it with constant threats.
If a rapist has you pinned and tells you to stop fighting or you will get hurt, YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN HURT! At least if you fight, there will be some DNA evidence under your nails to prove who screwed you!
