We Need To Study What Works (Hezbollah) and Use It.
Hezbollah is a force to be reckoned with even within the political system. They are supported by many of the citizens. Perhaps the key to their success is also the key to our success.

Hezbollah has found so much success due to filling in holes not offered by the government. They found that many social programs were lacking and worked to fill that void. They have become heroes to some.

Maybe we should take a page from their playbook. Democrats are a big part of this country and if we worked together we could do great things to fill holes that this Republican party does not try to fill. We have enough money, on our side, and enough people that if we could truly pull together we could make a difference.

If a terrorist organization can get the support of the people (whether it is Hezbollah or the * cabal) then we can do the same thing. To be successful you can either come up with your own winning strategies or look around you at what works for others and do that yourself. I truly believe that if an organization such as Hezbollah can do this then we can also.

2. They bear studying, but not emulation

the first characteristic of Hezbollah is theocracy, the second characteristic is terrorism.
This may work for them and it may work for Israel but I want no part of it.
( I get the point about Hezbollah's success deriving from doing for their people what a central gov't couldn't or wouldn't, but holy crap, Hezbollah? Can't we find a model for "what works" without going there?)

4. Hezbollah was started by a physical invasion of their country
and I don't think the Democratic party can wait around for that to happen.

6. Locking.
This analogy seems particularly inflammatory right now.

Thanks for your consideration.
