Robbery victim told to repay cash.
Sounds like someone in the supervisory chain of command could use a skull creasing with a crowbar...

:wtf:

"A sub-postmaster left with serious head injuries during a robbery on his post office has said he has been told to pay back some of the stolen cash.

Dilip Karavadra, 42, was hit repeatedly with a crowbar during the raid in Upper Caldecote, Beds, in December last year.

He said he was asked to pay a £3,000 contribution to the £6,695 stolen as he had moved away from an open hatch.

The Post Office said no final decisions have been made and it is sympathetically looking into the issue.

"I don't want to pay a single penny because I do not see the justice in that. It is ludicrous," said Mr Karavadra, who has run the post office in the village for six years.

The robbery involved two men, one armed with a piece of wood and the other had a crowbar.

The man with the wood kept watch over the queue of customers while the other went through the parcel hatch into the staff area.

He then hit the postmaster around the head 10 times with the crowbar.

To be continued...
