A video of broadcasts from inside the war-torn Middle East of the conflict in Lebanon compiled by RAW STORY from Link TV shows grotesque images of the rising civilian toll of the ongoing strife. As a warning to readers, the video is graphic and shows images of dead children.

American media traditionally avoids showing the human toll of violent attacks.

7. Interesting use of the word martyred, instead of killed or murdered. Also,

one reporter says that Israel is attacking Lebanon because of the "humiliation" caused by the kidnapping of three soldiers. Using pictures of dead children for propaganda is something that I thought only Fox News would do. Guess I was naive. All I see is dead children being posed for photographers, not grieving over the loss of their lives.

This is offensive and tragic for more than the deaths of any children anywhere.
