I talked to a gal from Chile
who is a teller at Wells Fargo bank. She saw my buttons and started the conversation( was she brave that she wasn't fired!). OMG, What she said about *, we are not the only ones that hate him and think he is stupid. She is about 30ish and has two kids, divorced and lives with her parents, Has no idea how any single mother makes it. She is not the first foreigner that I have met that plans on going back home in a few years. She can live much better, have a better quality of life and more free time for her kids back in Chile than here. Sooooooooo much for democracy and 'our way of life'!

1. And Chile's new president
is so impressive and apparently in touch with her people. One of the most interesting leaders on the world stage right now in my opinion.

2. Yes, she is

quote.......
Bachelet — surgeon, pediatrician and epidemiologist with studies in military strategy — served as Health Minister and Defense Minister under President Ricardo Lagos. She is a separated mother of three and a self-described agnostic, which sets her apart in a predominantly conservative and Catholic country. A polyglot, she speaks Spanish, English, German, Portuguese and French.

end quote......

..And * can't even speak English

3. One of my friends is going to Europe next month -
For a while I envied her, now I wish she weren't going. It may get rough as I think she is a "Bushite". We never talked politics, too busy partying, but I know, now, she is a born-again Mormon.

5. A Mexican I know went back -for a better lifestyle
He said it's too brutal here because you always HAVE to be earning money. There he can make it without fears if the job ends.
