1. The Palm Beach Post 'gets it'! From the article: |

Perhaps the most galling of all Mr. Bush's self aggrandizing remarks was his endorsement of the right to vote as "the lifeblood of democracy," when to date his Justice Department has not thoroughly investigated the blatant constitutional compromises invoked during the 2000 election in Florida or the disparate treatment of minority and poor citizens in the 2004 election in Ohio. Both can be directly attributed to actions by members of his own political party. Pandering to the organization's historic religious fervor, while minimizing the importance of separation of church and state, the president hailed his unprecedented reliance on faith-based organizations as an appropriate prescription for curing community ills.

2. This kind of BS from his mouth |
|
is why I never watch him on TV because I can't afford to buy a new television every time the idiot appears. I keep thinking about the old Monday Night Football with Howard Cosell. There was a bar in Cleveland where they sold tickets before the game and the winner, at a time of his choosing, could heave a brick through the TV after some inane remark by Cosell.

3. What a Great Idea for a Democratic Fund Raiser! |
|
Just imagine selling tickets for $25, offering food and beer and the opportunity to buy a raffle ticket to throw the first brick. I love it!
