Pat Robertson's Cayman company to resume Liberiangold prospecting
Robertson's Cayman company ready to resume gold prospecting

HAMPTON ROADS, USA: The Virginian-Pilot, July 19, 2006 - Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson is back to prospecting for gold in Liberia, where the end of civil war and a new democracy have made it safe for his private mining company to resume operations.

...

The Christian Broadcasting Network, which Robertson founded and heads, has no investment in Freedom Gold, Isakoff said. CBN is based in Virginia Beach and produces "The 700 Club" television show hosted by Robertson.

Freedom Gold was incorporated in the Cayman Islands in 1998 and Robertson is the company's sole director and majority shareholder, Isakoff said.

4. Dunno. Guess I missed the part in the bible where
Jesus started his own personal gold mining company. Or was that Muhammad? Or the Buddha? Can't remember.

5. I Hear
John the Baptist took a short position on oil in the futures market. And why was Jesus so upset with the Moneychangers in the Temple? Were they interferring with his currency arbitrage?

7. After he sold PTL, the guy had to put his billions SOMEwhere.
He tried to buy the Bank of Scotland, but even they had their standards.

Maybe it's because Pat Robertson is a COWARD who abandoned his men on the way to the fighting in Korea in 1951...

12. Remember the part of serving two masters?
Pat picked the wrong one. And we ALL must face the rapture, sooner or later.

Wasn't Pat also in business with Charles Taylor?
